July 2023: The BraunLab is extremely grateful to receive an NIH/NCI R37 MERIT Award and Department of Defense Idea Development Award to support our research.
July 2023: A busy (and fun!) summer. Grateful to have summer students Shawn Gregory (high school student in the Discovery to Cure program), Elena Ahjem (medical student from the University of Cambridge), Ayjha Brown (Emory undergraduate student and Yale BioMed Amgen Scholar), and Zhaochen Ye (Peking University undergraduate student) join the lab.

April 2023: The BraunLab received an Idea Development Award from the Department of Defense (Kidney Cancer Research Program) for work on patient-derived models.

Chris presented his single-cell analysis of chromophobe RCC and other oncocytic neoplasms, and Renée discussed her work on transcriptional subtyping of ccRCC and relationship to therapeutic response.
